2001-2006 Studied Ancient History, Ancillary Historical Disciplines, and Art History at the LMU Munich. April-September 2006 research stay at the German Achaeological Institute at Rome, October 2006-June 2007 at the University of Exeter funded by the Gerda Henkel Stiftung. October 2007-September 2010 research staff at the LMU. February 2010 PhD. October 2011-2021 Akademische Rätin auf Zeit at the Department of Ancient History at the LMU Munich. 2016-2019 Habilitation in Ancient History with a research fellowship at the Centre for Advanced Studies at LMU in 2016. 2017 awarded the Princess Therese of Bavaria Prize. From 2018 to 2021, Executive Director of the 53rd German Historians’ Congress, held in Munich from 5 to 8 October 2021.
