Studied Archaeology with particular emphasis on the Near East at the University of Turin (BA 2006, MA 2008) and at University College London (PhD 2015).

Academic positions: University College London (2013-2015, teaching assistant).

Participated in excavation work in Sardinia (Tharros), Syria (Tell Afis), Western Turkey (Tell Atchana) and Turkmenistan (Nisa), and in processing the stone objects from Shahr-i Sokhta (Iran, 3rd millennium BCE) at the Museo Nazionale d'Arte Orientale, Rome. Since 2015 member of the Peshdar Plain Project in the Autonomous  Kurdish Region of Iraq.

Since August 2015 part of the research staff of Prof. Dr. Karen Radner.
