1997–2001 Research Assistant of “The Neo-Assyrian Text Corpus Project”, University of Helsinki; 10–11/2005, 03–05/2007 visiting professor at the University of Verona; 10/2008–08/2012 Research Associate of the project “Mechanisms of Communication in an Ancient Empire: The Correspondence between the King of Assyria and his Magnates in the 8th Century BC” (directed by Prof. Karen Radner), History Department, University College London; since 09/12 Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in the project “Corpus of Mesopotamian Anti-witchcraft Rituals” (directed by Prof. Dr. Daniel Schwemer), Lehrstuhl für Altorientalistik, Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg.
Since October 2015 part of the research staff of the Alexander von Humboldt-Professorship for the Ancient History of the Near and Middle East.
