Studied Ancient History, Classical Philology and Classical Archaeology at the University of Pisa. Apr. 2003: Master's degree (Laurea) in Greek History and Epigraphy. Dec. 2003: Admission to doctoral studies in Ancient History at the Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Antichità "Giorgio Pasquali", University of Florence. Oct. 2004-July 2005: scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Seminar of Ancient History of the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and the Commission for Ancient History and Epigraphy of the German Archaeological Institute. April 2006-April 2008: research assistant at the Department of Ancient History at the LMU. Feb. 2007: doctorate (topic: "Ephesos in Hellenistic times. History and epigraphy"). Oct. 2007-Apr. 2008: additional teaching at the Department of Ancient History, Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. Oct. 2010-March 2011: Research fellowship of the Gerda Henkel Foundation at the chair of Prof. J. Collaborator in the international research project led by Prof. J. Scheid "Fana, templa, delubra. Corpus des lieux de culte de l'Italie antique". 2020: Habilitation in Ancient History with the thesis "Sacra civitatium Etruriae. Studies on the religious history of Roman Etruria.
